Airlines see travel recovery continuing

The CEOs of Delta Air Lines and United Airlines expect demand for travel to continue as returning leisure and business travelers help drive the industry’s recovery after two years of the pandemic. “The demand is off the charts,” Delta CEO Ed Bastian said this week at the Bernstein Conference. “The economy is just returning to normal,” added United CEO Scott Kirby, who also participated in the event.
