AJET, the latest addition to Turkey’s aviation landscape and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, has announced the opening of its ticket sales, marking a significant milestone ahead of its first flight scheduled for March 31, 2024. Initially known as AnadoluJet since its establishment in 2008, the airline has played a pivotal role in enhancing air transport connections across Anatolia, reuniting over 150 million passengers with their loved ones over 16 years.

Transitioning from its former identity, the airline will now operate as ‘AJET Air Transportation Inc.’, embodying a new vision while leveraging the legacy and expertise of Turkish Airlines. AJET is set to redefine the low-cost travel experience, offering modern, comfortable, and accessible services to its customers, with ambitions to ascend as a global leader in the affordable airline sector.

AJET’s flight network encompasses an impressive roster of 93 destinations, split between 41 domestic and 52 international locations, including a variety of routes servicing the United Kingdom. With a robust fleet of 95 aircraft, the airline plans to connect passengers to 44 countries during this summer season alone, aiming to expand its fleet to 200 aircraft within the next decade.

This strategic move not only signifies AJET’s ambitious growth plans but also strengthens its competitive edge in the global aviation market. As ticket sales go live, AJET is poised to offer an enhanced flying experience to travelers seeking affordability without compromising on quality or comfort, further solidifying Turkish Airlines’ position in the international aviation arena.
