Alaska Airlines’ Fantasy Flight takes off to the ‘North Pole’
Alaska Airlines and non-profit organization Spokane Fantasy Flight have teamed up to fly unprivileged children to the ‘North Pole’ for the 15th year.
On December 10, 2022, 60 children from Spokane and Coeur d’ Alene departed Alaska Airlines Flight 1225 from Spokane International Airport (GEG).
The children were welcomed with Christmas festivities at the airport. Onboard, they flew with flight crew dressed as Christmas elves and Santas. The flight circled for 40 minutes before landing in the ‘North Pole’, a hangar at the airport designed to look like Winter Wonderland.
