Alaska Airlines has received the first of 13 new Boeing 737 Max jets it plans to lease from Air Lease Corporation as the carrier pursues its fleet renewal plan. The carrier also plans to buy dozens of the aircraft between 2021 and 2024, replacing less fuel efficient planes.
