Alaska’s subscription plan attracts new customers

Eli Cohen, a qigong instructor who splits his time between San Francisco and Palm Springs, Calif., says Alaska Airlines’ pioneering subscription plan allows him to lock in predictable costs. “We are tracking just ahead of our full-year projections,” said Alex Corey, the airline’s managing director of business development and products, adding that a third of subscribers hadn’t flown on Alaska in at least three years.
