The adults-only Alila Napa Valley, a “restorative retreat” nestled in a California vineyard, is the 1,000th hotel established by Hyatt Hotels. The company’s initial property, the Hyatt House, opened in 1953 near Los Angeles International Airport, is believed to be the world’s first airport hotel.
