Oceania Cruises is set to delight food enthusiasts with the unveiling of its new culinary offerings onboard its upcoming ship, Allura. Scheduled to debut in July, this luxurious vessel will introduce reimagined menus in its Grand Dining Room that feature over 270 brand new recipes, ensuring that every meal onboard is an exceptional culinary experience. From breakfast to lunch and dinner, guests can look forward to gourmet dishes such as eggs benedict Florentine, beef Wellington, and Maine lobster with risotto, among many other delectable creations.

“Dining is the cornerstone of the Oceania Cruises experience, and the new menus for the Grand Dining Room are a shining example of the culinary artistry of our talented team,” said Frank A. Del Rio, president of Oceania Cruises. “Every dish reflects craftsmanship, passion, and unparalleled quality, perfectly aligning with the warmth and elegance of the onboard experience and service that our guests cherish.” This statement underscores the cruise line’s commitment to not only provide luxurious accommodations and exceptional service but also to elevate every dining experience at sea.

The menu redevelopment project was led by chefs Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale, the line’s executive culinary directors and resident master chefs of France. Their expertise and innovative approach to cuisine have transformed the dining options available on Allura. “In crafting these new dishes, I drew deep inspiration from my childhood, family life, and, of course, from across my career, including collaborations with renowned Chef Jacques Pépin, our culinary patriarch,” explained Quaretti. This infusion of personal history and professional excellence is set to create a truly memorable dining journey for all passengers.

Allura is designed to accommodate up to 1,200 guests and is the second ship in Oceania’s Allura Class, marking the eighth vessel in the company’s fleet. One of the standout features of the ship is its exceptional chef-to-guest ratio, with one chef available for every 10 guests. This ensures that every meal is prepared with meticulous attention to detail and allows for a more personalized dining experience.

In addition to the revamped Grand Dining Room, Allura will offer passengers a variety of culinary venues to explore. Guests can indulge in the signature French restaurant, Jacques, where classic cuisine is served with a modern twist. For those seeking a lighter, wellness-inspired option, Aquamar Kitchen will provide a menu that emphasizes fresh, healthy ingredients without sacrificing flavor. Furthermore, the ship will feature a hands-on Culinary Center and accompanying Chef’s Studio. These innovative spaces will enable guests to participate in food and wine pairing experiences, culinary demonstrations, and interactive sessions with onboard instructors, allowing them to learn tips and tricks from seasoned professionals.

This comprehensive culinary transformation is part of Oceania Cruises’ broader mission to deliver a superior onboard experience that caters to the discerning tastes of today’s traveler. By combining innovative menu offerings with exceptional service and state-of-the-art dining facilities, Allura promises to set a new standard for dining at sea. Guests embarking on a voyage with Oceania Cruises can expect a journey that is as much a feast for the palate as it is a luxurious escape on the high seas.
