Amadeus Acquires Travel Data Firm ForwardKeys

Amadeus has acquired Spanish travel intelligence firm ForwardKeys as part of its strategy to expand its presence in the travel data and analytics space. While financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed, Amadeus confirmed the deal and said more information would be shared in the future.
A spokesperson for Amadeus noted that the acquisition aligns with its broader goals in travel intelligence. “This acquisition will enable our expansion in travel intelligence, thanks to great portfolio and customer complementarity. As this is still a recent acquisition, we are speaking first to key stakeholders: customers and partners,” the company said in a statement.
ForwardKeys, founded in 2009, provides actionable travel data and insights to a wide range of clients, including destination marketing organizations, airlines, retailers, hospitality providers, media agencies and financial institutions. The company aggregates global travel booking data to help businesses understand trends, forecast demand and make informed strategic decisions.
The company has now rebranded to include the tagline “an Amadeus company” in its official communications, signaling its integration into the Amadeus portfolio. The acquisition further enhances Amadeus’ analytics capabilities and broadens its value proposition for customers seeking deeper market intelligence.
This latest move follows other notable acquisitions by Amadeus. In January 2025, the company acquired Vision-Box, a leader in biometric technology for airports and border control. In March 2024, Amadeus added Voxel, a specialist in B2B payment solutions, to its business services portfolio. These deals reflect Amadeus’ strategic push into technology and services that support end-to-end travel experiences.
