Amadeus Ventures Invests in AI-Powered Meetings Tech Hivr.ai

Amadeus Ventures has made a strategic minority investment in Hivr.ai, a Germany-based AI-driven meetings and group sales platform for hotels. The investment aims to support hoteliers in automating sales processes and increasing revenue.

Founded in 2020, Hivr.ai leverages artificial intelligence to streamline hotel meetings and group sales. Currently, meetings and groups account for over one-third of hotel room nights, but only 10-20% of meeting requests are confirmed, highlighting a significant growth opportunity.

Alongside the investment, Amadeus is exploring collaborations with Hivr.ai to integrate its technology into Amadeus’ hotel solutions.

“Our AI-powered solutions transform convention sales workflows, reducing manual tasks such as data entry, availability checks, and follow-ups, allowing hotel teams to focus on creating unique event experiences,” said Felix Undeutsch, CEO of Hivr.ai.

Suzanna Chiu, head of Amadeus Ventures, emphasized the investment’s alignment with Amadeus’ focus on AI innovation. “Hivr.ai delivers a practical AI solution for hoteliers, enhancing operational efficiency,” she stated.

Amadeus Ventures has actively invested in travel and hospitality tech startups, including climate tech firm Chooose, ticket marketplace Busbud, mobility provider Eccocar, and SAF specialist Caphenia.

With this investment, Amadeus continues to expand its AI-driven technology portfolio, reinforcing its commitment to innovative solutions for the hospitality industry.
