American Airlines and Southwest Airlines Introduce Seasonal Routes from Oklahoma City

American Airlines and Southwest Airlines are adding seasonal routes from Oklahoma City’s Will Rogers World Airport to Florida for the winter season. American will fly to Miami and Southwest to Orlando.

American Airlines will start daily nonstop service to Miami, Florida from December 20, 2023 to April 3, 2024. The flight will depart from Oklahoma City’s Will Rogers World Airport (OKC) at 6:00 a.m. and arrive at Miami International Airport (MIA) at 10:30 a.m. The return flight will depart from MIA at 7:00 p.m. and arrive at OKC at 9:30 p.m. The flight will be operated by an Airbus A319 aircraft, which can seat up to 128 passengers.

Southwest Airlines will begin daily nonstop service to Orlando, Florida from October 9, 2023 to March 6, 2024. The flight will depart from OKC at 10:35 a.m. and arrive at Orlando International Airport (MCO) at 2:35 p.m. The return flight will depart from MCO at 3:25 p.m. and arrive at OKC at 5:25 p.m. The flight will be operated by a Boeing 737 aircraft, which can seat up to 175 passengers.

These seasonal routes are designed to provide more travel options and convenience for customers who want to escape the winter weather and enjoy the attractions and activities in Florida.
