  • Chicago to Madrid: Starting March 30, 2025, daily flights will connect Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) with Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport (MAD) aboard Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners.
  • Miami to Rome: From July 5, 2025, American will launch daily flights from Miami International Airport (MIA) to Leonardo da Vinci Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) on Boeing 777-200ER planes.
  • Philadelphia to Edinburgh: The Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to Edinburgh Airport (EDI) route will resume on May 23, 2025, with daily service operated by Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners. This route last flew in 2019 before being cut due to the pandemic and fleet adjustments.
  • Philadelphia to Milan: Also starting May 23, 2025, American will introduce daily flights from Philadelphia to Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) using Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners.
