American Airlines has announced nine route additions for the summer season in 2024. These additions include daily seasonal flights from New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA) to Halifax (YHZ) in Canada, Bangor (BGR) in Maine, and Hyannis (HYA), Martha’s Vineyard (MVY), and Nantucket (ACK) in Massachusetts. A year-round service to Portland (PWM), Maine, will also be launched, operating twice a day.

In addition, a new daily summer-season route will be opened between Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA) and HYA from June 22. The airline is also restoring nonstop flights between DCA and Bermuda (BDA) from April 4 for the first time since 2019, becoming its fifth gateway to BDA.

Lastly, a new service from Charlotte to Vancouver (YVR) will launch on June 5, becoming the only nonstop service between North Carolina and British Columbia.

These route additions come as American Airlines seeks to provide comprehensive access to various destinations and expand its network to offer travelers more options for their summer travel plans.
