American Airlines CEO appears on NYT podcast

American Airlines CEO Doug Parker joined the New York Times’ podcast, Sway, to discuss the future of air travel, reopening international travel, vaccination requirements and ongoing sustainability priorities among other topics. As American continues to look towards recovering from the pandemic, Parker noted “there’s enormous pent-up demand for travel. People are flying. And as they return to the skies, we’re ready. … [W]e’re really excited about what lies ahead.”
