American Airlines partners with Connect startup

American Airlines has signed a partnership deal with startup carrier Connect Airlines, which intends to begin service by the end of the year from Philadelphia and Chicago, two of American’s hubs, to Billy Bishop Downtown Toronto Airport in Canada’s largest city. “Our Interline partnership is still in its developmental stages, and we look forward to providing more options for customers to travel from Toronto’s Billy Bishop airport,” said American spokesman Jermaine Spight.
