American Cruise Lines announced it would celebrate the launch of the 2023 summer season on the Upper Mississippi River by offering free airfare on select voyages.

The cruise line revealed its Complimentary Domestic Airfare offer for August and September departure dates of its eight-day Upper Mississippi River cruises, which operate between St. Louis and St. Paul, Minnesota.

The eight-day voyages include a range of shoreside experiences, such as visits to Mark Twain’s Boyhood Home & Museum in Missouri, the National Eagle Center in Minnesota and the Field of Dreams Experience in Iowa.

Select dates also offer up to $1,200 off per stateroom and all cruises include a Complimentary Pre-Cruise Hotel Stay. The summer sailings will take place aboard two of American’s newest 100-percent private balcony riverboats, American Symphony and American Serenade.

In total, the cruise line offers 11 itineraries along the Mississippi River and five of the newest riverboats for unique voyages along the length of the river. All of American’s cruises include complimentary onboard entertainment, cuisine, wine and beer with both lunch and dinner and a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres each evening.

The company’s sailings also include Starlink WiFi and private American Cruise Coaches for shoreside transportation. American offers Flat-Rate Domestic Airfare for all cruises that do not already include Complimentary Domestic Airfare.
