Ameriflight leases 15 Saab freighters from Jetstream

US Part 135 Cargo airline Ameriflight will lease 15 Saab 340B(F) converted cargo aircraft from lessor Jetstream Aviation Capital.

The first P2Fs are intended to join the Ameriflight operation in the fourth quarter of this year.

This latest fleet type will be used to support “unprecedented demand” for the company’s services, including Ameriflight’s expedited supply chain services, dedicated operations, and regional feeder service for the world’s largest overnight express carriers.

In March, Jetstream delivered a Saab 340B(F) cargo converted aircraft to US carrier Castle Aviation.

The previous month Sweden-based TAM, Täby Air Maintenance delivered its 25th Saab 340 cargo conversion to Jetstream.
