ANA Cargo looks set to benefit from the resumption of flights between Brussels and Tokyo Narita by the passenger side of the business.

From March 26, ANA will operate two weekly flights between the two airports every Wednesday and Thursday utilising B787 Dreamliner aircraft.

The service will be the only one that connects Japan to the Belgian facility and additional flights could be added in the future.

“ANA will continue monitoring travel viability and demand trends and additional flights will be reinstated in case of a further increase in demand,” the carrier said.

Sadami Sugimoto, vice president, cargo marketing and services, Europe Middle East and Africa, said: “We are delighted to be able to serve the Belgium cargo and mail community by resuming flights to Narita, ANA and Japan’s cargo hub. With direct flights to Japan, we will be able to again provide faster links to Japan and beyond.

ANA is also planning the flights between Munich and Haneda with a frequency of three times a week starting from 2023 summer schedule.
