ANA Holdings Orders 27 Airbus A321neo and A321XLR at Paris Air Show

Japan’s ANA Holdings (ANAHD) has finalized a firm order with Airbus for 27 single-aisle aircraft, including 24 A321neo and three A321XLR models. The agreement was announced on June 16, 2025, during a signing ceremony at the Paris Air Show 2025.
The order includes 14 additional A321neo aircraft for All Nippon Airways (ANA) and 10 A321neo plus three A321XLR aircraft for group carrier Peach Aviation. The new aircraft will support ANAHD’s fleet modernization and network expansion strategy.
The A321neo, part of the Airbus A320neo family, features advanced engines, Sharklets, and cabin efficiency innovations that deliver over 20% fuel savings and CO2 reductions compared to previous generation single-aisle aircraft. The A321XLR offers even greater range and fuel efficiency, burning 30% less fuel per seat than older widebody competitors, enabling airlines to open new long-haul routes while maintaining operational flexibility.
Koji Shibata, Representative Director, President and CEO of ANAHD, expressed confidence in the expanded Airbus partnership, noting the importance of adding state-of-the-art, fuel-efficient aircraft to enhance service quality and reduce carbon emissions.
Airbus EVP Sales Benoît de Saint-Exupéry highlighted ANA’s long-standing relationship with Airbus, dating back to its first order in 1987. He emphasized that the addition of the A321XLR for Peach Aviation reflects ANAHD’s continued trust in the A320 Family’s performance and capabilities.
Airbus reaffirmed its commitment to supporting ANA and Peach Aviation as their expanding fleets are deployed across domestic and international networks.
