The Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda will take center stage in the season finale of ABC’s hit reality show The Golden Bachelor, with the final two episodes filmed across four of the country’s luxury resorts.

The production took place at four Elite Island Resorts properties—Galley Bay Resort & Spa, Hammock Cove Antigua, Pineapple Beach Club Antigua, and The Verandah Antigua. The episodes are set to air on November 5 and 12 on ABC, with next-day streaming on Hulu.

“We’re thrilled to see Antigua and Barbuda featured in The Golden Bachelor,” said Colin C. James, CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority. “Our islands have always been a place where romance comes naturally—from sunset strolls on the beach to unforgettable stays at our beautiful resorts. It’s an honor to share that magic with audiences around the world.”

The second season of The Golden Bachelor follows 66-year-old former NFL player Mel Owens as he searches for love among a group of contestants. Filming at the resorts showcases the islands’ pink- and white-sand beaches, lagoon-style spas, and fine dining—offering viewers a glimpse of Antigua and Barbuda’s romantic allure.

Tourism in Antigua and Barbuda surged in 2024, with nearly 50,000 more visitors than the previous year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. The islands’ feature in The Golden Bachelor is expected to further boost international visibility and attract travelers seeking a luxurious Caribbean escape.
