Arkia Launches Business Class on New York-Tel Aviv Flights

Arkia Israeli Airlines is set to elevate transatlantic travel with the launch of its new business class on the New York (JFK) to Tel Aviv (TLV) route, starting May 14, 2025. The service will operate aboard an Airbus A330-200, featuring a newly designed premium cabin with 18 lie-flat seats, offering enhanced comfort for long-haul travelers.
The airline’s upgraded business class aims to meet growing demand on the popular route while delivering a luxury experience. Passengers will benefit from a suite of premium services, including access to the Dan Lounge at Ben Gurion Airport and select lounges at JFK, both offering Kosher food options. A private check-in counter and priority boarding streamline the pre-flight experience.
Onboard, travelers will enjoy spacious seats that convert to fully flat beds, along with upgraded baggage allowances. Business class passengers can bring a carry-on, a trolley, and two checked bags weighing up to 70 lbs (32 kg) each. Complimentary amenities include noise-canceling headphones, a comfort kit, water bottle, slippers, and in-flight essentials.
Dining is a highlight, with two gourmet hot meals served on each flight, complemented by a wide range of alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, sparkling beverages, and premium snacks like petit fours.
Arkia launched its New York-Tel Aviv route in February to meet high demand and increase competition between Israel and the U.S. The new business class is part of Arkia’s strategy to expand its international footprint and offer a superior travel option. One-way business fares will start at $1,750.
