ASL Airlines Ireland Welcomes First A300-600F from DHL Lease

ASL Airlines Ireland has expanded its fleet with the addition of its inaugural A300-600F leased from DHL Express. The freighter, registered as EI-LDD, was formerly operated by Cathay Pacific’s cargo subsidiary, Air Hong Kong. This move is part of DHL’s broader strategy to transfer its A300 fleet from Asian operators to European carriers due to limited technical support in the region. The new A300-600F joins ASL Airlines Ireland’s existing A300-600R(F) fleet, all of which are operated on behalf of DHL’s German carrier EAT Leipzig. DHL aims to complete the transfer of all A300s from Air Hong Kong by the end of 2024.
