Atlas Ocean Voyages is set to enrich its 2024 Epicurean Expeditions in the Mediterranean with an impressive roster of culinary talent, promising guests an immersive journey into the cultures, cuisines, and wines of each destination. Aboard an intimate yacht designed for fewer than 200 explorers, the cruise line invites travelers to indulge in a series of onboard culinary demonstrations and tastings led by world-renowned chefs and sommeliers, complemented by local market explorations and regional cuisine tastings on shore.

The 2024 season will feature exclusive dining experiences such as the Josper Grill Dining Experience at 7Aft Grill, a Yachtsman Cookoff challenge, and expert-led culinary presentations and wine tastings. Highlighting the immersive nature of these voyages, select expeditions will be enhanced by events hosted by a Tastes & Traditions Expert, offering deep dives into the culinary heritage of the regions visited.

Introducing New Culinary Experts for the 2024 Season:

  • Chef Philip “Ippy” Aiona, known for his fusion of Italian American and Native Hawaiian cuisines, will join the World Traveller expeditions in late May and early June.
  • Julieta Davey, celebrated as Mamá Cacao, will bring her expertise in chocolate crafting and ethical cacao stewardship to various expeditions across the World Navigator and World Voyager ships.

Welcoming Back Gastronomic Guests & Visiting Vintners:

  • Mara Papatheodorou, a Master Foodie™ and entertaining specialist, will return to share her culinary and historical insights on numerous World Traveller expeditions throughout the summer and fall.
  • Chef Massimo Capra, a Canadian celebrity chef known for his authentic Italian cuisine, is set to enchant guests on the World Navigator and World Traveller ships in May and September.
  • Chef Viet Pham, famed for his victory on “Iron Chef America,” will showcase his culinary innovation on the World Traveller in September.
  • Chef Peter Campbell and Chef Bobby Marcotte, experts in Italian cuisine and culinary creativity, respectively, will join expeditions on the World Traveller and World Navigator in April, May, and September.
  • Chef Sylwia Stachyra, Top Chef Poland winner, and Pastry Chef Anna Wilamowska, a talented French pastry chef, are poised to offer unique dining experiences in June, May, and September.
  • Jon Schlegel, CEO of Attimo Winery, will introduce guests to the finest wines from his Barolo vineyard during the World Traveller expedition in August.
