Atlas pilot helps mentor women in aviation

Atlas Pilot Capt. Taylor Montgomery’s family upbringing helped give her a head start as a flight instructor and eventually as a pilot with Atlas Air. Montgomery mentored friend Morgan “Allie” Balding in her journey to become an Atlas pilot herself. “The last time we flew together, it was in 2012 and we were in a Cessna 172. Next time we fly, it will be in a 767!,” Montgomery said.
