AU Aviation Dissolves and Decommissions Falcon 900

Alaska Utah Aviation LLC, operating as AU Aviation, has been administratively dissolved as of September 27, and has subsequently removed its sole Part 135-certified aircraft from service, according to ch-aviation research. The aircraft involved, a Falcon 900 with the registration N484FM (msn 81), is 34.7 years old and has been parked since its last flight on March 29, from Vail/Eagle to Miami Opa-Locka.
This Dassault Aviation jet, no longer listed under any operator for Part 135 certification, still holds its registration in the United States. Originally serving the Algerian Air Force for 11 years, the Falcon 900 had a brief stint registered in the U.S. in 2001 before joining the fleet of Italy’s Servizi Aerei. It returned to the U.S. in 2014 under the ownership of Fox Management International.
Both AU Aviation and Fox Management International, which do not hold a Part 135 certificate, are registered at the same legal address. Historical records from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) show that N484FM was previously flown under Part 91 for both companies. The cessation of AU Aviation’s operations and the grounding of its Falcon 900 mark the end of its certified commercial activities, reflecting a significant transition in its business operations.
