The legendary Shore Club Resort & Residences in Miami Beach, Florida, is set to undergo a transformative renaissance under the management of Auberge Resorts Collection, in collaboration with Miami-based developer Witkoff and Monroe Capital. This landmark partnership marks a pivotal moment in Miami’s hospitality scene, with the iconic destination slated for a grand reopening in 2027.

Originally designed by Albert Anis in 1949, The Shore Club has been a beacon of architectural and social prestige on Miami Beach. Its forthcoming revitalization involves not only the restoration of its historic charm but also the expansion to include the neighboring Cromwell Hotel and the erection of a new 18-story residential tower and a standalone villa, both conceived by the acclaimed Robert A.M. Stern Architects. The project aims to merge the property’s historic elegance with modern luxury, creating an unparalleled guest experience.

Dan Friedkin, Chairman of Auberge Resorts Collection, expressed enthusiasm for the project, highlighting the brand’s commitment to enhancing historic properties with unparalleled service and experiences. The integration of The Shore Club into Auberge’s portfolio represents an expansion of its urban presence, promising to infuse Miami Beach with a new dynamic destination that captures the locale’s unique blend of nature, art, culture, and entertainment.

The restoration and design efforts are being spearheaded by the renowned Bryan O’Sullivan Studio and Kobi Karp Architecture and Interior Design, alongside RAMSA, ensuring The Shore Club’s Art Deco essence is meticulously preserved while ushering in a new era of South Beach glamour. The interior design is poised to reflect the sophistication of classic yachts, with rich woods, flowing lines, and brass accents defining its luxurious ambiance.

Upon completion, The Shore Club will boast 73 opulent rooms and suites, including a premier penthouse suite, each offering direct beach access and the elite amenities synonymous with the Auberge Resorts Collection brand. The Cromwell Hotel will be reimagined as a private entrance for the 49 exclusive residences, each featuring unique layouts and dramatic windows to maximize ocean views.

Residents and guests will have access to a suite of bespoke amenities, including a private fitness center, exclusive lounge, library, residents-only pool, and the full spectrum of hotel facilities. These include a signature restaurant, cocktail lounge, a world-class Auberge spa, three pools with sun terraces, and a poolside café and bar, ensuring a lifestyle of unmatched luxury and convenience.

Alex Witkoff, Co-CEO of Witkoff, expressed confidence in the collaboration with Auberge Resorts Collection, citing their shared vision for crafting premier luxury destinations. This partnership is poised to restore The Shore Club’s esteemed position in the Miami Beach skyline, creating a beacon of luxury and sophistication for the world’s most discerning travelers.
