Austria’s IJM Retires Gulfstream G550, Keeps GV in Fleet

Austria’s International Jet Management (IJM) has retired its sole Gulfstream G550, OE-LSE, which has been re-registered as N1CD. The 9.2-year-old jet last flew under IJM’s ‘IJM’ code in late October, with routes from Geneva to Stuttgart and a final journey to Oxford, Connecticut, via Bangor International.
The G550 initially served the Mexican Air Force from 2015 to 2022 before briefly operating in the United States. It joined IJM’s fleet in April 2022 but has now transitioned out of the airline’s lineup. Despite this, IJM continues to manage a similar Gulfstream GV model.
Specializing in private jet charters and aircraft management, IJM oversees a diverse fleet of eleven Austrian-registered aircraft, including Citation models, Falcon jets, a Global Express XRS, a Praetor 600, and others. Additionally, it operates a Challenger 350 under the AOC of SPARFELL Luftfahrt, along with two German-registered aircraft: a Phenom 300 and a Pilatus PC-24.
IJM is part of IJM Holding, which manages aircraft registered in jurisdictions like the Isle of Man, San Marino, and the Cayman Islands, extending its operations through branches in Singapore and the UAE. IJM Holding is wholly owned by SecuTrust GmbH, which also holds stakes in JET24 and Avcon Jet.
Recently, Avcon Jet consolidated IJM’s Austrian AOC, streamlining regulatory processes while maintaining IJM as a distinct AOC entity. This strategic move aligns with IJM’s commitment to providing seamless and efficient private aviation services.
