Avcon Jet Adds First Citation M2 Gen2 to Austrian Fleet

Avcon Jet, a Vienna-based private jet operator, has expanded its fleet with the addition of its first Citation M2 Gen2, marking another milestone in its growth. Delivered in late December 2024, the new-generation jet complements a previous-generation Citation M2 already in Avcon Jet’s fleet.
Registered as OE-FPJ (msn 525-1180), the aircraft was flown directly from Textron Aviation’s Wichita production facility to Vienna between December 27 and 29, 2024. The journey included stops at Springfield Westfield Barnes Regional, Bangor International, Goose Bay, Narsarsuaq, and Inverness. The Citation M2 Gen2 is configured to accommodate five passengers and will be available for charter on a floating base, the company confirmed.
Avcon Jet operates a diverse fleet of 40 aircraft registered in Austria, reflecting its commitment to offering a wide range of private aviation solutions. In 2024, the company expanded its capabilities by adding two new aircraft types—the Challenger 3500 and Learjet 31A—while resuming operations with models such as the Challenger 300, Challenger 850, Global 6500, and G200.
Avcon Jet’s subsidiary carriers, Avcon Jet Malta and Avcon Jet San Marino, do not currently operate Citation M2 aircraft, highlighting the unique role of the new jet in the Austrian fleet.
This latest addition underlines Avcon Jet’s dedication to fleet modernization and its mission to deliver premium charter services across Europe and beyond.
