Avcon Jet Expands Fleet with First Learjet 31A Acquisition

Avcon Jet (AOJ), based in Vienna, has added its first Learjet 31A to its fleet, marking a significant expansion for the business aviation operator. The newly acquired aircraft, OE-GFD (msn 31A-162), was previously operated by Panaviatic (VPC) in Tallinn and represents the last Learjet 31A in the Estonian carrier’s fleet.
The Learjet, which was in service with Panaviatic since 2011, was configured to accommodate up to seven passengers and was initially registered as ES-PVH. The aircraft was retired on February 19 after completing a flight from London Biggin Hill to Tallinn Lennart Meri, after which it was placed into storage.
This acquisition by Avcon Jet adds to the operator’s growing fleet, which already includes two Learjet 75s, both six years old. The Vienna-based operator is known for managing a varied fleet of business jets from prominent manufacturers, including Bombardier Business Aircraft, Dassault Aviation, Embraer Executive Jets, Gulfstream Aerospace, and Textron Aviation. However, neither Avcon Jet Malta nor Avcon Jet San Marino currently operates any Learjets.
As Avcon Jet continues to expand its offerings in the business aviation sector, this acquisition further strengthens its diverse fleet, ensuring that the company can meet the growing demand for high-quality, versatile private aviation services.
Meanwhile, Panaviatic continues to operate an all-Learjet fleet, consisting of two Learjet 60SEs and one Learjet 60XR, maintaining its focus on this iconic aircraft type for its business operations.
