Avcon Jet has retired its only Dassault Falcon 7X, marking a shift in its fleet strategy. The 14.5-year-old aircraft, registered as OE-LRR (msn 94), had been part of Avcon Jet’s fleet since 2018 and was configured to accommodate up to 14 passengers.

The jet’s final flight under Avcon Jet’s ‘AOJ’ code took place on January 6, 2025, operating between Malé and Venice Treviso. By January 23, the aircraft had transitioned to Paris Le Bourget under the ‘IJM’ code, signifying its transfer to International Jet Management, which already operates another Falcon 7X.

With this retirement, Avcon Jet’s Austrian operations now consist of two Dassault jets: a Falcon 900EX and a Falcon 2000. Meanwhile, Avcon Jet Malta manages a Falcon 2000LX, whereas Avcon Jet San Marino no longer operates any Dassault aircraft.

Avcon Jet, a Vienna-based business aviation operator, continues to refine its fleet, focusing on operational efficiency and evolving market demands. The exit of the Falcon 7X could signal a realignment toward other aircraft types within its growing portfolio.
