Aviation-linked Minneapolis hotel blends history, fun

Rand Tower Hotel, which opened in late 2020 in a historic downtown Minneapolis skyscraper, features a one-of-a-kind aviation theme that makes a great home base for exploring the area. A $110-million renovation and conversion project retained the design of the former Minneapolis Gas Light Co., entered in National Register of Historic Places.
