Avion Express, a top-tier narrow-body ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) and charter airline, celebrates a pivotal achievement as its fleet grows to encompass a remarkable 50 aircraft. This significant milestone mirrors the surging worldwide appetite for ACMI services, underscoring the airline’s unwavering dedication to expansion.

In recent times, Avion Express has undergone a robust phase of advancement, undergoing an impressive fleet expansion journey — elevating its count from 16 aircraft in 2021 to an impressive fleet of 50 A320 family aircraft, representing an astounding surge of 212%.

“ACMI services present airlines with a plethora of advantages, spanning efficient capacity management, operational streamlining, cost-effectiveness, and heightened flexibility, particularly in times of demand fluctuations. In response to the escalating interest in these offerings, we have consistently bolstered our fleet, better serving esteemed clients like Eurowings, SunExpress, Transavia Netherlands, TUI UK, Flynas, Air Baltic, British Airways Euroflyer, Air Malta, Pegasus, and numerous others,” reveals Darius Kajokas, Avion Express’ forward-looking CEO.

Charting a course ahead, the airline is resolute in its pursuit of continued fleet expansion. “As we look to the upcoming year, we anticipate fortifying our fleet to comprise 60 aircraft, with a visionary goal of achieving a 100-aircraft fleet by the close of 2027,” he further affirms.

Beyond fleet expansion, Avion Express is boldly embarking on uncharted territories. The company is poised to extend its reach into the South American market, forging a presence through an ACMI/Charter airline venture and the attainment of an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) in Brazil. Operating Airbus A320 family aircraft, including the Airbus A321F variant, the novel airline will cater to both passenger and cargo operations.

Backing the burgeoning expansion of Avion Express is its parent entity, Avia Solutions Group, a global titan in the ACMI realm, boasting a sweeping fleet of over 180 passenger and cargo aircraft that span the globe.”
