Avion Jet Charter Retires Its Only BAe-125-800(A) Jet

Avion Jet Charter has officially retired its sole BAe-125-800(A) from its FAA Part 135-certified fleet, marking a shift in the company’s charter operations.
The 33.8-year-old jet, registered as N150SB (msn 258197), had been parked at Dallas Executive Airport since July 2024. Although it briefly resumed activity on January 24, 2025, it is no longer listed as a Part 135-certified aircraft.
Originally registered in the United Kingdom, the aircraft was imported into the U.S. in 2003 and later joined Avion Jet Charter’s fleet in late 2023. The jet was configured to seat up to eight passengers, making it suitable for private charter services.
In addition to retiring its BAe-125-800(A), the company has also phased out its sole Hawker 800XP(2). Following these retirements, Avion Jet Charter’s Part 135-certified fleet has been reduced to just one aircraft—a Challenger 601-3R.
The 29.3-year-old Challenger 601-3R, featuring a 12-passenger cabin, was inducted into the fleet in March 2024. It had remained inactive since July 2024 but resumed operations in January 2025.
The fleet reduction signals a potential shift in Avion Jet Charter’s strategy, as the company evaluates its long-term operations in the private jet charter market. Whether additional aircraft will be added remains unclear, but the Challenger 601-3R is now the company’s sole active charter jet.
