AXIS Aviation (BQA, Zurich) has introduced its first Gulfstream G700, now operated under its San Marino unit, while retiring its sole Pilatus PC-12 and transferring a G650 from its Swiss operations to its Austrian division, according to ch-aviation research.

The G700, registered as T7-MINT (msn 87033), is a new ultra-long-range jet. It became operational on December 19, 2024, with its first flight taking it to Shannon following test flights at Gulfstream’s Savannah facility.

Meanwhile, the operator retired its 17-year-old PC-12, HB-FVD (msn 1072), last active on December 3, 2024. The aircraft was ferried to Altenrhein and re-registered as N963CB before being flown to the U.S. on December 16, 2024. AXIS Aviation confirmed it will not replace the PC-12.

Additionally, AXIS Aviation transferred its sole G650, HB-IVJ (msn 6062), to its Austrian unit. The aircraft, now OE-LVJ, flew its final Swiss-operated flight on December 17, 2024, before transferring to Vienna. It became active under Austria’s ‘BQA’ code on December 27.

Following these fleet changes, AXIS Aviation’s Swiss operations now include three aircraft: a Challenger 601-3A, a Falcon 2000LXS, and a Falcon 2000S. The Austrian division manages two aircraft, a G550 and the transferred G650. The San Marino unit, alongside the new G700, operates additional executive jets including a Falcon 2000LXS, Falcon 7X, Global 5000, Hawker 800XPi, and Learjet 31A.

These strategic adjustments reflect AXIS Aviation’s focus on optimizing its diverse fleet for regional and global operations.
