Bahrain’s Texel Air eyes network growth with 737-800(BCF)s
Texel Air (XLR, Bahrain Int’l) is planning to use its two B737-800(BCF)s to expand its network reach to include India, Turkey, and East Africa, founder John Chisholm said during a welcoming ceremony for the first of the pair on January 16, 2022.
A9C-GWC (msn 29985) was ferried to Bahrain Int’l in mid-December 2021, following P2F conversion by Taikoo (Shandong) Aircraft Engineering Co. Ltd. (STAECO) at Jinan airport. A second aircraft is due to deliver to the Bahraini cargo specialist in September 2022.
The ch-aviation fleets advanced module shows that Texel Air currently operates one B737-300(F), two B737-700(FC)s, and the newly inducted -800(BCF). The second -800(BCF) will expand the fleet to five aircraft.
