Bally’s scores Chicago’s first casino license

Bally’s Corp. has prevailed over two other finalists, Hard Rock and Rivers, in securing Chicago’s first casino license, pending the approval of the full City Council and the Illinois Gaming Board. The $1.74 billion casino is expected to generate nearly 3,000 jobs and will feature a gaming area with 170 table games and 3,400 slot machines, a 500-room hotel tower, six restaurants and a 3,000-seat theater.
