Baltimore airport plans major upgrades

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport is planning $332.5 million in upgrades that include a new baggage handling system, a direct connection between concourses and improvements to gate areas. That is especially good news for Southwest Airlines, which uses BWI as a hub and accounts for 70% of the airport’s traffic.
