BBN Airlines Indonesia Secures $6.2 Million Funding from Avia Solutions Group

BBN Airlines Indonesia, a charter startup based in Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta, has successfully secured funding of IDR 96.1 billion (USD 6.2 million) from its parent company, Avia Solutions Group. The investment reflects Avia Solutions Group’s strong confidence in the success and growth potential of BBN Airlines Indonesia.

Martynas Grigas, Chairman of BBN Airlines Indonesia, stated, “With this support, BBN Airlines Indonesia is poised to execute the company’s strategic plan to operate a fleet of 40 aircraft by the end of 2027. We are committed to delivering more diverse and high-quality services to the aviation industry in Indonesia. Moving forward, we also plan to expand our services to the commercial flight segments.”

Currently specializing in freight ACMI and charter services, BBN Airlines Indonesia operates two B737-800(BCF) aircraft. However, the airline recently announced ambitious plans to triple its fleet and enter passenger charter operations by adding a B737-400(SF) and three more B737-800s.

Avia Solutions Group has been actively supporting its subsidiary’s growth plans, indicating the group’s commitment to expanding BBN Airlines Indonesia’s operations. The funding will play a crucial role in facilitating the airline’s fleet expansion and diversification of services.
