BCD Unveils New Management Tools Catering to Unprofiled Travelers

BCD Travel has introduced a guest travel management tool for customers worldwide, the travel management company announced.

BCD Invite lets travel managers and arrangers invite travelers without travel program profiles into the BCD platform to book travel within their company’s policy. Travel managers can create temporary profiles, track booking status and keep up with the guest travelers throughout their trip. Travelers also can set event types and rules and invite attendees, according to BCD.

Most BCD customers manage “a significant volume” of travelers without profiles, especial in the media and entertainment and life sciences verticals, according to BCD SVP of product planning and development Yannis Karmis.

A future feature of BCD Invite will enable arrangers “to invite both profiled and unprofiled meeting attendees to a specific event with custom booking parameters,” Karmis said in a statement. “This will vastly simplify group travel management for organizations.”
