Beijing Airlines Takes Delivery of First Gulfstream G650ER

Beijing Airlines (BJN) has received its first Gulfstream G650ER, marking its initial venture into non-bizliner business jets. The aircraft was delivered from Gulfstream Aerospace via Appleton Outagamie County Regional and Jeju to Tianjin on July 15-16, 2024. It was subsequently used for a flight from Tianjin to Ordos Ejin Horo on July 20.

The G650ER joins Beijing Airlines’ fleet, which includes an ACJ319-100 and a Boeing 737-700(BBJ). Additionally, the airline operates three 737-800s in a standard 167-seat configuration for Air China.

Beijing Airlines is a subsidiary of Air China (CA), with Air China holding a 51% stake. Other shareholders include Beijing Holdings Group Company (18%), Beijing State-Owned Assets Management Company (18%), and Zhongda UBS Investment Company (13%).
