The Bellagio, a landmark of luxury on the Las Vegas Strip, renowned for its iconic fountains, has announced the completion of a significant $110 million transformation of its Spa Tower. This upgrade rejuvenates one of the resort’s premium accommodations sections, reopening this month to guests seeking an elevated luxury experience.

This extensive renovation focuses on enhancing the guest rooms and suites in the Spa Tower, drawing inspiration from the timeless elegance of classic Italian aesthetics, harmonizing with the overall style of the property. The project was led by the acclaimed Champalimaud Design of New York City, in collaboration with MGM Resorts International Design Group. Their combined efforts have infused the Spa Tower with a chic, sophisticated ambiance through the integration of custom furnishings, premium amenities, and bespoke art pieces.

Winston Kong, a partner at Champalimaud Design, shared insights into their design philosophy: “Our goal was to create a residential feel infused with the luxury that Bellagio is known for. We drew inspiration from the vibrant colors of Lake Como’s flora and the classical architecture.” The result is a soothing neutral color palette in the rooms and suites, accented by vivid colors inspired by Italy’s Lake Como region, such as soft pinks, pomegranate reds, indigo, and golden hues, creating a tranquil yet luxurious retreat from the vibrant Las Vegas Strip.

The redesigned spaces feature custom furnishings and accent pieces that reflect Northern Italian style, alongside refined interior surfaces, creating a visually harmonious environment. Highlights include grey-and-white marble tables and gleaming white marble vanities in the bathrooms, all bathed in natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows.

Ann Hoff, President and COO of Bellagio, emphasizes the resort’s dedication to excellence: “At Bellagio, we are committed to offering unparalleled accommodations and service. The newly transformed Spa Tower suites and guest rooms will further solidify our position as a top destination in the hospitality industry.”

Following the Spa Tower’s makeover, the resort plans to continue its commitment to luxury with the renovation of approximately 400 suites in the Bellagio Tower, a project also set to be executed by Champalimaud Design. This initiative reaffirms Bellagio’s status as a premier destination for luxury and refinement in Las Vegas, offering guests an unmatched experience in hospitality and elegance.
