Located at 34 street “le petit chantier”, Ben Mouture is the dream of Benoit, a young coffee roaster, who opened this very nice place in September. In his coffee shop, you can drink your coffee at the counter or take it away and you can also decide to work from the café, on one of the comfortable armchairs with a good pastry as a bonus! Benoit places great importance on the origins and producers of its coffees. Some come from Brazil, Colombia or Tanzania, and are offered in beans or ground on demand. If you have any doubts about the preparation or conservation, don’t hesitate to ask Benoit who will be happy to give you his expert advice!

Café Lauca is the story of Laurent, from Colombia who in early 2021, opened a coffee roasting workshop in Aubagne. In August 2021, the adventure continued and Laurent opened his small coffee shop at 68 rue Grignan where he offers his coffees ground and grain from fair trade, but also from the sale of equipment and coffee machines that he comes to install directly at your home. The shop has only 6 seats inside, so we advise you to come early to enjoy Laurent’s great coffees!

Back to the 7th district and more precisely to 142 street of ‘Endoume’ to tell you about “La Tisserie”! La Tisserie has very committed values: creating a link between coffee consumers and producers, offering products made by ESATs ( institutions and services providing assistance through labor), promoting local craftsmen via stands, and developing actions to promote equal opportunities. Their coffees are also available online but we encourage you to drop by their pretty shop to chat with them and why not enjoy a treat for breakfast or a snack!

It’s not a novelty, but after a long closure due to the pandemic, is the return of Café Piata, a tasty and photogenic café at 14 rue Breteuil. This well-decorated, relaxing place for a snack break with pastries prepared by Kevin d’Andréa who’s inspired by Australian, Brazilian and American sweets. Florent Dumas, the owner, also recycles coffee grounds to offer coconut, shea, or olive oil soap bars in the shop.
