Best Things To Do In North America
If you are hoping to explore a continent with every type of culture, landscape, and atmosphere imaginable, look no further than versatile North America.
From Mexico to Canada, the United States to Cuba, and every one of the many other countries in between, there is truly something for every traveler.
Explore NYC
The Big Apple, as New York City is referred to, often feels like the hub of the United States with its buzz of activity, unique culture, and impressive architecture.
If it is your first time visiting, we recommend spending at least a week in the city to see all the big sights, including the Empire State Building, the 9/11 Memorial, Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, and so much more.
Our favorite things to do are catching a Broadway show, enjoying local cuisine at one of the many food markets, taking a stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge, and shopping on the famous Fifth Avenue.
Marvel At The Grand Canyon
A visit to the United States is not complete without seeing one of the Seven Wonders of the World: The majestic Grand Canyon.
The famous canyon, made up of beautiful red rock, is a product of millions of years of land erosion. It technically sprawls over four states (Nevada, Utah, Colorado, and Arizona), but we suggest entering from Arizona as it is most easily accessible.
Sail Through The Arch Of Cabo San Lucas
Cabo San Lucas is known for its fantastic beach resorts and stunning coastline, making it perfect for a sea getaway. While visiting, you must take a boat tour out to the famous Arch of Cabo San Lucas.
The arch is located on the water towards the southern tip of the region. It is a large rock that has a large arch, and it has become a famous spot synonymous with the place. You can either sail by or hike up the rock formation.
Visit Chichen Itza
A must-see attraction is the ancient ruins of Chichen Itza, located in Yucatan State.
The old Maya city is thought to have been founded around the 6th century CE and was originally used for religious, political, and military purposes at the time.
Travelers can visit the site and learn more about the culture and history, and we suggest setting aside at least one full day to do it justice.
Admire Banff
With the breathtaking landscape of Banff in Canada, you would be forgiven for thinking you have stepped into a painting.
The town is well known for its scenery of snow-capped rocky mountains surrounding bright blue lakes and green forestry. You can spend days or weeks hiking through the tranquil area, discovering the many natural gems it has to offer.
Aside from nature, we also enjoy the town’s charm with small shops, cost restaurants, and chalet accommodation.
See The Northern Lights In Alaska
It may be in the United States, but Alaska can feel like you are on another planet with its unique landscapes, climate, and lifestyle.
Here you can see the world-famous Northern Lights, which is a bucket list item for many. The best time to visit is between August and April, with the peak viewing time falling in March.
Relax In The Bahamas
The Bahamas have become synonymous with flawless beaches, fascinating wildlife, and nature at its finest – and with good reason, too.
The country, located in the Caribbean region of North America, is a tropical paradise for those wanting the perfect beach escape. Our favorite spots to visit include Pink Sands Beach, Nassau, Glass Window Bridge, and Paradise Island.
