Bikini Jet, based at Istanbul Atatürk, has expanded its fleet by adding its first Citation Jet 3+ to its Part 135-certified operations, according to ch-aviation research. This latest addition marks a significant milestone for the company as it continues to upgrade its fleet with modern Citation-series aircraft. The new jet, registered as TC-EDD with manufacturer serial number 525B-0731, is a 2024-built aircraft delivered directly from Textron Aviation’s production facilities at Wichita Eisenhower.

The delivery process was notable for its international route, reflecting the global logistics behind modern aviation operations. The Citation Jet 3+ flew from Wichita Eisenhower with scheduled stops at Toronto Pearson International Airport, Goose Bay Airport, Reykjavik Keflavik International Airport, and Prague Václav Havel Airport before finally arriving at Istanbul Atatürk. Despite its arrival in October 2024, the aircraft has remained parked since then, waiting to be put into regular charter service by Bikini Jet.

The new Citation Jet 3+ is designed to offer enhanced performance and greater efficiency compared to earlier models in the Citation family. Configured to accommodate up to eight passengers, it brings the benefits of advanced avionics, improved fuel efficiency, and increased range, making it an attractive option for private charters and executive travel. The aircraft’s modern features are expected to bolster Bikini Jet’s competitive edge in the regional charter market.

This latest addition to the fleet comes at a time when Bikini Jet is strategically aligning its aircraft portfolio to cater to diverse customer needs. The Citation Jet 3+ now joins another Citation-series aircraft in the fleet, specifically the Citation Latitude. In addition to these jets, Bikini Jet operates a Global Express and a Legacy 650, ensuring a varied offering of aircraft types to suit different mission requirements and passenger loads. The company made a significant fleet adjustment in 2024 when it phased out its only Global 5000, further streamlining its operations towards a more modern and efficient fleet configuration.

Bikini Jet’s decision to integrate the Citation Jet 3+ underscores the operator’s commitment to providing high-quality charter services. The modern Citation models are well known in the industry for their reliability, performance, and passenger comfort, and the new Jet 3+ is expected to contribute positively to the company’s overall service standards. With increasing demand for flexible, on-demand charter solutions, Bikini Jet’s updated fleet will help the company meet rising market expectations while improving operational efficiency.

The acquisition of the Citation Jet 3+ is part of a broader strategy to expand and modernize the fleet, ensuring that the company remains competitive in a dynamic charter aviation market. As private jet travel continues to gain popularity in the region and beyond, operators like Bikini Jet are investing in advanced aircraft to provide superior customer experiences. The Citation Jet 3+ is set to become a key asset in meeting these demands by offering a combination of speed, efficiency, and luxury.

The delivery of the Citation Jet 3+ represents a significant milestone for Bikini Jet as it enhances its service offering with a modern aircraft known for its operational efficiency and passenger comfort. The company is poised to leverage this upgrade to strengthen its market position and continue delivering high-quality charter services in an increasingly competitive industry.
