Black-owned wineries are looking to raise awareness

There are few Black-owned wineries in the US, according to Longevity Wines founder and president of the Association of African American Vintners Phil Long, who started his winery with the goal of inclusivity. Last month, the virtual International Winemakers Summit hosted several Black-owned wine brands who shared their experiences and stories within the industry to encourage more people of color to join the wine community.
