Boardy AI Secures $8M Seed Funding After $3M Pre-Seed
Boardy AI, an AI-powered networking platform, has raised $8 million in a seed funding round led by Creandum, just months after closing a $3 million pre-seed round. The startup connects users by using AI agents to facilitate introductions and build meaningful connections.
Since its October launch, Boardy AI has conducted over 10,000 calls, facilitating more than 9,000 connections. These interactions have led to partnerships and investments for startups, showcasing the platform’s potential. Co-founder and CEO Andrew D’Souza highlighted the unique approach of the funding process. “What stood out in this round was how investors reached out after experiencing the product firsthand. They spoke with Boardy AI before engaging with me or the team,” D’Souza explained.
Notable participants in the round include Andy Dunn, Leah Solivan, and Andrew Yeung. The funding will likely be used to enhance the platform’s capabilities and expand its user base, positioning Boardy AI as a key player in AI-driven networking solutions.
Boardy AI’s innovative approach to fostering connections demonstrates its potential to disrupt traditional networking, providing a scalable and efficient solution for professionals and businesses seeking impactful relationships. This funding marks a significant step in the company’s growth journey, as it aims to redefine how networking is done.
