Breeze Airways, the U.S. carrier known for its focus on non-competitive routes, is set to expand its network by adding Portsmouth International Airport (PSM) in New Hampshire and Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) in Colorado. Starting October 9, Breeze will inaugurate service from PSM to Orlando, followed by Fort Myers the next day, both operated twice weekly with Airbus A220-300 aircraft. From December 21, the airline will commence winter seasonal service from MTJ to Orange County, California, and Provo, Utah, offering five flights per week. Breeze CEO David Neeleman expressed enthusiasm, stating, “Breeze is dedicated to connecting cities with no existing nonstop options. Adding these two cities and expanding our nonstop routes to Florida and the West Coast is a thrilling development for our national network.” Additionally, Breeze has announced future routes such as Grand Junction to Las Vegas starting January 9, 2025, and New York Stewart International Airport to Vero Beach, Florida, beginning November 21. Founded in 2021 by Neeleman, Breeze aims to eventually operate up to 2,000 routes.
