Breeze Airways Launches Tri-Cities–Orlando Flight

Breeze Airways has officially launched service at Tri-Cities Airport, giving local travelers a new nonstop option to Orlando just in time for the winter travel season. A few dozen passengers boarded the inaugural flight this week, trading cold weather in the Tri-Cities region for Florida sunshine.
The debut marks Breeze Airways’ first route from Tri-Cities Airport and expands the carrier’s growing network of point-to-point leisure destinations. Orlando remains one of the most popular vacation markets in the United States, driven by demand for theme parks, cruise departures, and family travel, making the new nonstop service particularly appealing to regional travelers.
Airport officials welcomed the launch, highlighting the importance of adding nonstop routes that improve connectivity and reduce the need for passengers to drive long distances or make connecting flights through larger hubs. The new service is expected to support both leisure travel and regional economic activity by increasing passenger traffic at the airport.
Breeze Airways, founded by airline entrepreneur David Neeleman, continues to focus on underserved routes between mid-sized cities, offering low fares and a simplified travel experience. The Tri-Cities–Orlando flight reflects the airline’s strategy of targeting high-demand leisure markets while expanding its footprint across the United States.
The new nonstop route is now available for booking, providing Tri-Cities travelers with a convenient and affordable option for trips to Central Florida.
