British Airways Resumes Beijing Flights, Introduces New “Club Suite”
British Airways has restarted its flights between London and Beijing after a suspension of over three years. The first passenger flight from London to Beijing landed at Beijing Daxing Airport, marking the airline’s exclusive position as the sole British carrier operating a direct service between the two cities.
The flights will operate four times a week, departing from Daxing Airport on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This resumption provides travelers with enhanced connectivity and convenience, as British Airways and joint business partner China Southern both operate from Daxing. Passengers can enjoy seamless transfers, a wider range of onward flights, and various benefits such as frequent flyer rewards, access to lounges, and premium services both in the air and on the ground.
Furthermore, British Airways introduces its new “Club Suite” on these Beijing flights, offering passengers an upgraded and luxurious travel experience. The resumption of this route signifies the airline’s commitment to meeting the travel demands between the UK and China.
British Airways’ new “Club Suite” as its latest business class product, which features a reverse herringbone seat with a door for more privacy and comfort. The Club Suite offers a fully flat bed, direct aisle access, a 17-inch screen, and plenty of storage space. The Club Suite is available on selected flights operated by Airbus A350-1000, Boeing 787-10, Boeing 777-200ER, and Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The Club Suite is a significant improvement over British Airways’ previous business class product, which had a dense layout and no direct aisle access for all seats.
