BTP Automation Adds Chief Revenue Officer

Hotel sourcing technology platform Business Travel Performance Automation in recent weeks hired travel management and technology veteran Annette Cumming as chief revenue officer, overseeing sales, marketing and engagement with customers and partners.

Cumming most recently was VP of channel sales for Deem. Prior to that, she was head of hospitality and digital strategy for the Americas at Travelport and a general manager at American Express Global Business Travel. She told BTN she was drawn to work with the company’s “industry-changing technology,” which aims to automate hotel sourcing processes to negate the need for manual requests for proposals, as well as the “legends” leading the company, including CEO Bruce Yoxsimer and chairman Dan Whaley, who were behind the launch of GetThere.
