Cambria Hotels Expands New England Footprint with Four-Part Opening

Cambria Hotels, part of Choice Hotels International, opened Cambria Hotel New Haven University Area, expanding the lodging franchisor’s New England coverage.

The new property is part of a four-part opening for Cambria in the New England market, following the summer opening of Cambria Hotel Boston Somerville, and preceding Cambria Hotel Manchester South Windsor (opening Oct. 5) and Cambria Hotel Portland Downtown Old Port (opening Oct. 6).

Cambria New Haven University Area includes 130 guest rooms, multifunction meeting and event spaces, and indoor and outdoor multipurpose spaces.

Cambria Hotel Manchester South Windsor will include 104 guest rooms and two meeting spaces across four floors, and Cambria Hotel Portland Downtown Old Port will offer 102 guest rooms and a 1,400-sq.-ft. meeting space.

These openings add to Cambria’s 60-hotel portfolio, with nearly 70 more in the pipeline that include active projects in markets like Austin, Nashville and Denver.
